MK Dons stretched their lead in League Two to eight points with a 1-0 victory over Mansfield, while Peterborough returned to winning ways.Despite being second from bottom the Stags posed a constant threat to their hosts - and Paul Ince's side were indebted to a 58th-minute goal from Keith Andrews to claim maximum points.

Mark Hudson and Ryan Taylor (2) were on target inside the last 20 minutes as Rotherham beat visiting Macclesfield 3-0 to move level on points with second-placed Hereford, who were held to a goalless draw at home by Notts County.

Chesterfield's promotion charge remains on track as they overcame lowly Wrexham 2-1.

Peter Leven and Jack Lester put them in control before Steve Evans pulled a goal back for the visitors - who remain bottom of the table.

Matthew Clarke and Joe Colbeck were on target as Bradford won 2-0 at Accrington, while Wycombe and Barnet played out a dour goalless draw.

Danny Boshell and Robert Atkinson netted to give improving Grimsby a 2-0 win at Chester, while Andy Bishop secured a point for Bury five minutes from time as he cancelled out Lincoln's 79th-minute opener from Louis Dodds.

Matthew Blinkhorn's goal was not enough to prevent Morecambe slipping to a 2-1 defeat to Stockport, whose goals came from Anthony Elding and Liam Dickinson.

Two goals in as many minutes from Charlie Lee and Craig Morgan gave Peterborough a 2-1 win over Shrewsbury, who had taken the lead thanks to Andrew Cooke.

Joe Thompson, Glenn Murray and Adam Le Fondre netted in a first-half blitz for Rochdale against Darlington.

Clark Keltie netted from the penalty spot in the second period but it was not enough to prevent a 3-1 defeat.
