Cheltenham boss Keith Downing must decide whether to shuffle his pack for the visit of Port Vale to Whaddon Road in League One on Wednesday.Midfielder Scott Brown was again forced to settle for a place on the bench in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Tranmere after almost a year out with a broken leg suffered in a collision with team-mate Damian Spencer against Bristol City.
But he could be given a chance from the start after coming on in the closing stages against Rovers.
Ashley Vincent and Guy Madjo also came on as substitutes in that game and will hope to be promoted to Downing's starting XI.
The game definitely comes too soon for skipper John Finnigan, who continues to struggle with a foot injury.
The Robins will hope defender Shane Duff can recover from ankle and Achilles problems in time to be passed fit.
