Manager Owen Coyle believes Burnley's FA Cup performance against Arsenal proved key to securing Gunners midfielder Mark Randall on loan.The 18-year-old has joined the Clarets on loan until the end of the season and was on the bench for last month's third-round clash at Turf Moor.

The Gunners won 2-0 but Burnley impressed with their attractive brand of football.

Coyle said: "I think the FA Cup cup tie helped us as well because Arsene Wenger realised we get the ball down and play and that will complement the way the boy plays."
