New £35,000-signing Nathan Elder is set to make his debut when Brentford travel to Field Mill to take on Mansfield on Saturday. The 22-year-old joined from Brighton on Thursday just a year after his prolific scoring record earned him a move from non-League outfit Billericay Town.

Charlton loanee Osei Sankofa will be hoping to make his full league debut after recently extending his stay at Griffin Park until the end of the season.

The defender impressed as an early substitute in Tuesday night's goalless draw with Notts County for Karleigh Osborne, who has recovered from the concussion that forced him off.

Fellow loanees Jordan Parkes and Craig Stone will be hoping to make their first appearances for the Bees after being left on the bench against the Magpies.

Manager Andy Scott has no other fresh injury or suspension concerns to contend with but remains without midfielder John Mousinho, who suffered a knock in training after recovering from a knee medial ligament injury in October.
