Geoff Horsfield will go straight into Scunthorpe's squad for Saturday's Championship clash with promotion-chasing Charlton at Glanford Park.The Sheffield United striker has joined on loan until the end of the season and is expected to start on the substitutes' bench.

Scunthorpe will also welcome the return of skipper Andy Crosby, who missed last week's defeat at Burnley due to a virus.

Crosby will be a straight swap for on-loan Shelton Martis, who has returned to West Brom, while fellow centre-half Mamadou Seck, on loan from Sheffield United, will be hoping to make the squad.

Iron manager Nigel Adkins also has the option of recalling Cliff Byrne to his starting line-up, with the Irish full-back available following suspension.

Adkins could choose to make several tactical changes as his side chase a first league win in six matches.
