Crewe first-team coach Steve Holland will be without several key players for the trip to Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.Chris McCready and Ben Rix are both casualties of the 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers on Tuesday and are set to miss the clash.
McCready is suffering from a hamstring injury that forced him off against Rovers, while Rix is set to miss out with a facial injury.
Midfielder Michael O'Connor is still sidelined with a foot knock, and Gary Roberts will miss the trip to the Withdean Stadium with a rib injury.
Holland has received a boost to his frontline though as striker Shaun Miller is back in training and could feature.
Midfielder Steven Schumacher is looking for a recall to the starting XI after recovering from injury.
