Spurs have eye on Sevilla starlet

Tottenham head coach Juande Ramos will reportedly attempt to sign teenage winger Diego Capel from his former club Sevilla in the summer.Ramos was said to be considering a January swoop for the Spain Under-20 international, but will now have to wait following the closure of the transfer window.

The gifted 19-year-old, who is under contract with the La Liga outfit until June 2009, plays on the left side of midfield.

Capel's agents Rene Ramos and Pedro Braco said: "We have not spoken to the English club but it is clear that Diego is of interest to many teams.

"Juande Ramos always praised the work of Capel during his stay in Sevilla."

Meanwhile, reports in Italy have linked Spurs with a move for teenage Atalanta striker Gueye Serigne Amath.

The north London outfit are understood to have been tracking the Senegal-born 17-year-old, who plays for the youth team of the Serie A side.
