Fri 01 Feb, 12:02 PM

Tony Warner is poised to make his Barnsley debut for their Championship clash with Coventry at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.Regular stopper Heinz Muller sustained knee ligament damage in the midweek win over Colchester in midweek and has been ruled out of action for at least six weeks.

Tykes manager Simon Davey moved into the transfer market to find a replacement for Muller and Warner joined on loan from Fulham on Thursday and could make his debut against the Sky Blues.

Fellow new-boys Lewin Nyatanga and Anderson de Silva could also be in contention to feature after joining from Derby and Everton respectively on deadline day.

Jon Macken is expected to resume his partnership up front with Daniel Nardiello after marking his permanent transfer earlier in the week with the only goal against the Us.

Diego Leon should partner Brian Howard in central midfield as Barnsley look to build on their first win in nine league matches.
