Tigerish midfielder Gennaro Gattuso will miss the first leg of Milan's Champions League tie against Arsenal with a thigh muscle strain.

Gattuso will be sidelined for between three and four weeks with the problem, which also rules him out of Italy's friendly against Portugal in Zurich on Wednesday.

The match against Arsenal - the first of two legs in the first knockout stage of the competition - is to take place in London on February 20.
