Newcastle United centre-half David Rozehnal has joined Lazio on a loan deal until the end of the season, according to his agent.
Pavel Zika said that his client was not happy with the situation at the Magpies under new boss Kevin Keegan. Former manager Sam Allardyce signed Rozehnal from Paris St-Germain at the beginning of the season.
"David Rozehnal joined Newcastle only last summer but has not been playing in his regular position in defence," he told Pravo.
"The Lazio offer came shortly before the transfer deadline, but we managed to finish the deal."
The Italian media has reported that Lazio will pay one million euros for the loan plus an option on a permanent move in the summer.
Lazio have meanwhile also bagged Manchester City's French midfielder Ousmane Dabo.
Dabo, 30, arrived in Manchester from Lazio in 2006 but has not held down a regular place in the side, especially under Sven-Goran Eriksson this season.
His move back to the Italian capital is permanent.
