Michael Proctor struck an equaliser to earn Wrexham a 1-1 home draw with Mansfield in the bottom-of-the-table clash at the Racecourse Ground.Silvio Spann and Chris Llewellyn tried their luck for the home side before Proctor just failed to get on the end of a free-kick.

Mansfield took the lead with their first effort of note in the second period when Keith Briggs' shot hit Michael Boulding and fooled Gavin Ward after 53 minutes.

Proctor brought a great save from Carl Muggleton seconds later but the striker would not be denied as his low 70th-minute free-kick evaded the goalkeeper.

Mansfield had the better chances before the end with Boulding nearly forcing his way through and Nathan Arnold also going close but honours ended even.
