West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is remaining coy on the future of promising striker Sherjill MacDonald.MacDonald has impressed while on loan with League Two outfit Hereford and has scored six goals in five games.

But, with the 23-year-old's loan spell with the Bulls expiring after the weekend, Mowbray is refusing to divulge his plans for the hitman.

"Sherjill's created a bit of interest for himself from all levels of football and my phone hasn't stopped ringing," Mowbray told the club's official website.

"We will sit down, talk about the next step really and, out of respect for Hereford, we wouldn't want to discuss in public what the next step is for Sherjill."
