Sporting Lisbon may await in the last 16 of the UEFA Cup but Bolton star Kevin Nolan knows Sunday's clash with Liverpool is more important.Wanderers surprised many by beating Atletico Madrid over two legs in the previous round of the UEFA Cup and, although the squad are enjoying their European travels, their domestic plight is of more concern.
They are currently 16th, three points off the relegation zone, having won just two of their last seven in the league.
And so the visit of Liverpool to the Reebok - where Bolton have a good record against the Merseysiders - takes on more significance as Wanderers seek to end a run of three hours and 47 minutes without a home goal.
"Every game from now until the end of the season is massive for us - it doesn't matter if we are playing Liverpool, Man United or Fulham or Sunderland," said Nolan.
"Every game, whether it be in the Premier league or the European adventure we are on, is massive and we have to win as many as possible and get the results we need.
"The results we need in the Premier League are wins and draws - anything less than a draw won't do but we need a lot more wins going into the business end of the season."
Nolan claims the squad have been champing at the bit since Sunday's 4-1 defeat by Blackburn.
"When you have a result like that - which we feel was undeserved - you just want to get back on the pitch and get it over with as soon as possible," the 25-year-old added.
"We haven't been able to do that with us having no European game or Premier League game (in midweek) so we have had to wait for a week.
"We have had the time to look at that and think about it and hopefully take it into Sunday's game and make sure it does not happen again.
"The mood in the camp is very relaxed. We are looking forward to it. We have two massive teams coming to the Reebok within the space of five days and hopefully we can turn both of them over.
"That is the general belief that we can do it. Hopefully we can prove it."
Manager Gary Megson has almost a full-strength squad to choose from, with only on-loan midfielder Danny Guthrie unavailable as he is ineligible to play against his parent club.
