Shrewsbury Town have been handed a boost with the news that Andy Cooke could be back in training by the end of the week.Cooke was forced off after 78 minutes in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Bury with a knee problem, however Town head physio Rachel Greenley revealed the injury was not a serious one.

She told the club's official website: "Andy Cooke's right knee felt sore after he took a whack to the leg in Saturday's game.

"This won't keep him out for very long and I'd hope that he would be training by the end of the week.

"There is no damage to the knee ligaments or anything like that."
