Cheltenham Town boss Keith Downing has been nominated for the March League One manager of the month award.The Robins have moved to the brink of League One survival after winning three, drawing two and losing just one of their games in what proved to be a highly successful month.

It is the second time this season Downing has been nominated for the award and ex-Town boss John Ward, now at Carlisle, is also among the contenders.

The winner will be announced at 12.30pm on Thursday.
