FA charge Iron over QPR clash

The Football Association have charged Scunthorpe for failing to control their players during the 3-1 Championship defeat at QPR on March 15.During the game at Loftus Road, goalkeeper Joe Murphy and skipper Andy Crosby were cautioned for protesting after referee Mick Thorpe awarded Rangers a 42nd-minute penalty following Izzy Iriekpen's foul on Rowan Vine.

The Iron have been given until April 9 to respond to the charge, and must now decide whether they will request a hearing.
