Leicester manager Ian Holloway looks set to travel to Sheffield United at the weekend with a depleted squad.Lee Hendrie, who joined City on loan from the Blades in February, is ineligible under the terms of the agreement between the two clubs, while Barry Hayles completes a two-match suspension.
Captain Stephen Clemence has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after a calf injury sustained against Scunthorpe dictated that he would undergo surgery on a troublesome heel complaint.
Iain Hume (ankle), Jamie Clapham (groin) and Kelvin Etuhu (hamstring) are all receiving treatment for injuries and Holloway could be down to the bare bones at Bramall Lane.
"Lee, Barry and Stephen are definitely out and it doesn't look like Iain is going to be fit. We will know more about Kelvin and Jamie later in the week," said Holloway. "It is disappointing and it is not ideal but we will get on with it and there are a number of things I am looking to do.
"We have got a reserve game against Bradford on Wednesday night and I am going to play the young kids because I can't risk anymore injuries at this stage of the season."
