Aston Villa midfielder Stiliyan Petrov will line up against three former team-mates when Bolton visit Villa Park this weekend.Gary Cahill, Jlloyd Samuel and Gavin McCann make their first return to the club and they will be desperate to get something from the game to keep Bolton's hopes of survival alive.

But Petrov said while it would be good to see his old friends, he was aiming to send them away empty handed.

He told the club's official website: "I'm sure there'll be some banter on and off the pitch next Saturday.

"One thing's for sure - it will be another tough game and we've found to our cost how difficult it can be to play struggling opposition."
