All the pressure on Owls - Coleman

Tue 01 Apr, 12:00 PM

Coventry manager Chris Coleman insists all the pressure is on Sheffield Wednesday ahead of the crucial relegation six-pointer at Hillsborough. The Owls occupy the final spot in the drop zone, with City just three points ahead of them in the table.

Coleman admits he would be happy with a repeat of last month's goalless stalemate at the Ricoh Arena.

"There will be a lot of pressure on both teams but Wednesday have got to come at us and try to win it because it is on their patch and they are behind us in the league," said Coleman. "If we get the three points it makes the gap bigger for them and a draw would be better for us too as it would be two points dropped for them.

"Wednesday would be disappointed with a draw because that would make it just three points from a run of three home games for them and they would have been looking for more than that."

Meanwhile, Sky Blues youngster Lee Hildreth, who will not have his contract renewed when it expires in the summer, is training with League One club Oldham. The midfielder played for the Latics' reserves against West Brom on Monday.
