Wrexham look doomed to drop out of the Football League after losing 2-1 at Mansfield in Tuesday night's League Two basement battle.The Stags remain second bottom despite the victory at Field Mill but moved within four points of 22nd-placed Notts County.
Jefferson Louis opened the scoring after 51 minutes from the penalty spot and defender Johnny Mullins secured the points just three minutes later.
Marc Williams pulled one back for Wrexham but they remain rooted to the foot
of the table and are now eight points from safety, although they do have a game in hand on Mansfield and Notts County.
Rochdale squeezed into the last play-off spot after beating Bradford 2-1 at Spotland.
Substitute Adam le Fondre grabbed the winner three minutes from time after Peter Thorne's penalty looked likely to give the Bantams a draw.
David Perkins had put Dale ahead inside a minute.
And Darlington edged into third place on goal difference after a 0-0 draw at lowly Barnet, despite the game starting late due to an Underhill floodlight failure.
