Hull boss Phil Brown is up for the March Championship Manager of the Month award, along with Alan Irvine, Mick McCarthy and Neil Warnock.Brown guided his Tigers team to six wins and two defeats in what proved a very successful month for the club, who as a result have climbed to third in the table.

He is favourite to land the gong but faces competition from Preston's Irvine, Wolves' McCarthy and Crystal Palace's Warnock for the gong.

The winner will be announced at 12.30pm on Thursday.
