Hamburg will have to do without Ivica Olic for the best part of the season run-in after he was diagnosed with a leg injury.

The Croatia international, 28, limped off during the 1-1 draw with Arminia Bielefeld at the weekend, with a subsequent scan showing a muscle fibre tear in his right thigh.

The former CSKA Moscow forward will be out for around three weeks with the problem.

Coach Huub Stevens is also missing Dutch defender Joris Mathijsen and Czech midfielder David Jarolim for the match against champions Stuttgart, after the duo were banned after an incident involving Bielefeld's Markus Schuler.
