Carlisle and Doncaster both blew the chance to put pressure on leaders Swansea by suffering home defeats.

Second-placed Carlisle crashed 2-0 to play-off contenders Nottingham Forest.

Defender Luke Chambers headed home from a free-kick on 76 minutes to put Forest ahead.

And their recent faltering form was banished in injury time when Garath McCleary sealed the victory.

Third-placed Doncaster went down to neighbours Leeds, who snatched a much-needed 1-0 win.

The result sent Gary McAllister's side to within a point of the play-off places with a game in hand as on-loan Alan Sheehan (pictured) scored the only goal after 20 minutes.

Luton look doomed after going down 2-1 at Gillingham - Simeon Jackson scoring twice in 12 minutes in the second half after Sam Parkin (19) had given the visitors the lead.

Gillingham remain in the relegation places but are now just one point behind Crewe in 20th.
