League Two - Team news: Roberts misses big clash

A training ground injury appears to have ruled Wrexham's Neil Roberts out of his side's crucial League Two relegation clash at Mansfield.

Midfielder Danny Williams (back) is also out for the Dragons, but former Northern Ireland international Danny Sonner (Achilles) could return.

Wales international defender Steve Evans and forward Rob Duffy (both knee) are back in training, but are not yet ready to return to first-team action.

Striker Drewe Broughton has extended his loan stay at the Racecourse Ground from MK Dons and should start up front after scoring in the 3-2 defeat to Barnet on Saturday.

Mansfield have no new injury concerns ahead of the game, with coach Paul Holland set to select from the same squad that drew 0-0 with Notts County at the weekend.

Midfielder Lee Bell remains out with a knee ligament injury, and is not expected to feature again this season.

Both bottom club Wrexham and second-bottom Mansfield go into the game knowing that defeat could spell relegation from the Football League.

Brian Little's side go into the game with 33 points from 38 games, but have two to three games in hand on the six sides immediately outside the bottom two.

Mansfield are one point above Wrexham, having played a game more. The bottom two clubs will both be relegated at the end of the season.

Little has conceded that the losers are likely to find themselves in the Blue Square Premier next season.

"We have to be honest enough to accept the consensus of opinion that the loser is likely to go down," he said.

"But there can't be a greater incentive than that and we're capable of a win."

Stags boss Holland said: "This is a must-win game for both sides. It is a massive match.

"A draw is no good to either side, so they will be coming here to win as well. Hopefully that will help us and it will be an open game."

The game will be played in front of a reduced crowd at Field Mill.

The local county council imposed a 50 per cent reduction in capacity after "an interruption in safety management" following the resignation of chairman James Derry.

Elsewhere in League Two on Tuesday night, promotion-chasing Darlington travel to Barnet, while Rochdale will look to move into the play-off places with victory over Bradford.
