La Liga - Kanoute signs Sevilla deal

Sevilla striker Frederic Kanoute has agreed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2012, the La Liga team said on their website.
"I am delighted to have signed a new contract that will possibly allow me to retire at a club that has given me so much," said the Mali international.
The former West Ham and Tottenham Hotspur striker will be 34 when the deal ends.
Kanoute is Sevilla's top scorer this season with 15 league goals.
