Northampton manager Stuart Gray believes in-demand goalkeeper Mark Bunn is capable of playing in the top flight of English football.The 23-year-old trained with Manchester City on Monday and is reportedly a target for Premier League sides Middlesbrough and Bolton.

Gray said: "It was a lift for him to be rubbing shoulders with Joe Hart and Kasper Schmeichel and he has seen now what a Premier League set-up is all about.

"You've got to set goals and hopefully Mark has the goal to play in the Premier League one day. He has the qualities to kick on and play in the top flight.

"I'm sure Gareth Southgate or Gary Megson would have called me if they are interested but you can't stop speculation.

"He's a Northampton player and he's been playing very well but I will not stand in anyone's way if they are improving themselves."
