Thu 01 May, 05:30 PM

Luton boss Mick Harford has urged his players to beat Huddersfield to give their long-suffering fans something to cheer about over the summer. The club have endured a nightmare season which has seen administration, FA charges and relegation to League Two but Harford wants to sign off with just a 12th win of the campaign.

He said: "I think we owe the fans a win if I'm honest.

"The supporters have stood by us through thick and thin this season.

"It's been a turbulent two years for the football club and every week they turn up in their thousands when we go away from home.

"Up at Doncaster they were fantastic and the club, the players, the management and the staff owe the supporters a victory."
