Thu 01 May, 08:15 PM

Striker Sam Mullarkey has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Lincoln after declaring a move to Sincil Bank would be "ideal".The Lincoln-born ace, who currently plays for Grantham Town, has attracted the interest of stand-in manager Iffy Onuora while on trial with the Imps.

But Onoura may have to stave off competition for the former Nottingham Forest trainee's signature after League One side Crewe watched him in action for Grantham this week..

But Mullarkey told the Lincolnshire Echo any potential move to his hometown team "would be ideal for me."

"I enjoyed playing in those reserve games for City and I thought I did ok."
