The Vitaphone Racing Team has officially withdrawn from the Le Mans 24 Hours after failing to agree a contract with Porsche.
The German team, who were hoping to run an RS Spyder in the race, will now not be present at the compulsory free practice session on June 10.
In their place the French Imsa Performance Matmut team, who already have a Porsche 911 entered in the race, will get the chance to enter a second car.
The Racing Box SRL team have also withdrawn their second car from the reserve list in a bid to concentrate on the Lola-Judd Coupe that already has a place in the race.
