Premier League - Tevez repeats desire to move

Carlos Tevez has reiterated his desire to leave Manchester United at the end of the season.

There has as yet been no agreement to turn the Argentina striker's loan spell into a permanent deal and he has revealed he would like a move to Spain.

Tevez has failed to hold down a place in the starting XI this season and is unhappy with his lack of action.

"It's true I've spent a lot of time on the bench and I'd like to play more. But every time I'm given a chance I do all I can to do well and take full advantage," Tevez told Madrid's Cadena COPE radio station.

"Yes it's true I see myself more leaving United than staying here. I don't see why I should lie to people or anything because the fans support me a lot, as you can see. So I don't have any reason to lie to them.

"While I wear the United shirt, I will leave my life on the pitch. My future? I don't know what will happen for my future.

"I would like to go to Spain, yes, but I don't know yet. I have no preference for a team. With respect to the fans and the history of Manchester United, I don't want to leave the club.

"But, from a personal aspect, my exit will be the best solution."

  5. i think tevez should had left before market transfer­ closed this year, tevez deserved more appearances than­ he is in UTD. Tevez is a good player and I think its­ the best way for him to leave than staying on the­ bench. He has good response and will get good vacancy,­ may be from REAL MADRID, VALENCE, A.MADRID, SEVILLA,­ JUVENTUS, INTER or may be even BAYERN MUNICH. GOOOD­ LUCCCK .. ???

  17. So Tevez has played 5 1/2 HOURS less than Rooney, and­ 11 hours less than Berbatov. He comes in as a sub and­ never gets into a rythm. He plays well, very well,­ when he comes in, but would undoubtedly get better with­ more playing time. He'd be far better off as a­ player, and might boost his Actim index, if he played­ for a team that allowed him a reasonable amount of­ playing time. I hope he gets his wish to leave and­ develops his skills as a starter.

  20. I'm wondering if Tevez has some sort of deal with­ united where if he plays the full ninety minutes he­ gets some astronomical fee that they are just not­ prepared to pay so he gets a few minutes here and there­ to give him a decent pay packet, greedy agents are most­ probably behind it all.
