Middlesbrough manager Gareth Southgate will check on a series of minor knocks before naming his side to face Barclays Premier League leaders Manchester United on Saturday.
Only Emanuel Pogatetz (knee) and Chris Riggott (ankle) have been ruled out of the game at the Riverside and Southgate is hopeful they will be the only absentees.
French midfielder Didier Digard, who was used as a substitute in the 2-0 defeat at Arsenal last Sunday after a lengthy lay-off, will once again be in contention, although he is short of full match-fitness.

According to all the brain-dead Man U haters and in particular all the Liverpool players( past and present) and including the so called TV pundits, United should have bottled it before now and should have run out of steam or run out of legs. What on earth is United doing by winning their games and now equalling the scousers on goal difference. Further, the result and particularly the performance against Arsenal must have been a real sickener for the scousers to swallow. Here come United again!

Come on Boro - you anly have to finish ahead of West Brom, Toon and Hull - or perhaps the Mackems, I'm not fussy. 36 or 37 points should do it. You beat Liverpool, so Manu thinking of the Champions league is possible - just believe...!
COME ON "RED DEVILS".
well we arent going to win so whats the point......................no i sound like a loser right c'mon boro lets keep a positive attitude and be optimistic then maybe we will win
