QPR caretaker boss Gareth Ainsworth looks set to resist the temptation to name himself on the bench at the ground where he began his career on Sunday.
The veteran winger has yet to make an appearance for Rangers this season, but although they have little to play for against play-off hopefuls Preston, he insists his side will go all-out for a win.
"I'm not going to give too much away and I know Preston will be quaking in their boots if I'm playing," said Ainsworth.
"But probably not. It would be unfair, we have some young lads and some fit lads who have trained hard all year and waited for their chance.
"It would probably be selfish of me to take up a place on the bench but you never know. I`m going up as a player as well as caretaker manager.
"We'll be going up their as underdogs but we'll give it a real good go - we want to finish the season with a win."
