Southampton captain Kelvin Davis has demanded his team-mates show their "pride" when they run out for their final fixture in the Championship.

Saints will take to the field at Nottingham Forest on Sunday before dropping down to League One next season and goalkeeper Davis is in no doubt about how to approach the game.

"I think the word is `pride' really, if you can sum it up in one word," he told the Daily Echo.

"The only way we can go to Forest and put in a decent performance is to have pride in what we do and pride in playing for the club.

"For any supporters who have already bought tickets, we`ve got a responsibility to do our best for them."
