Dave Allen has outlined the type of manager that he wants to see at Chesterfield.
Former Sheffield Wednesday chairman Allen became the Spireites' majority shareholder last week after investing around £6million in the League Two club.
Chesterfield are set to appoint a new manager this week after deciding to let Lee Richardson leave Saltergate at the end of last season.
Newcastle coach Colin Calderwood is on a shortlist of three candidates for the post.
Allen said: "We will get a proper manager who plays attractive, attacking football but we won't be going out and spending an absolute fortune on new players.
"We need to get out of this division and if we do that this year we will move to a new ground in League One."
