Canaries still have pulling power - Deehan

Mon 01 Jun, 11:17 AM

Former Norwich manager John Deehan insists the Canaries will have no problem attracting players in League One this season.

Deehan, who is currently the chief scout at Carrow Road, believes that Bryan Gunn's side are a bigger draw than the likes of Leeds and will be in the market for the best signings this summer.

He said: "Norwich is by far and away the most attractive club in League One.

"Yes, Leeds United have their history behind them. Charlton and Southampton are both clubs with a very good history and very nice grounds.

"The geographical position of Norwich means you have got to live here to play here, so you have the prospect of living in Norfolk.

"A lot of people would like to settle here with their families and the ones we pick will hopefully come with a great desire to try and get back up into the league above."
