Argentina striker Ezequiel Lavezzi wants to remain at Napoli despite reported interest from Liverpool.
Lavezzi, who joined the Naples-based side in the summer of 2007, has scored seven goals for the Serie A club this season.
"Liverpool's offer?, I want to stay at Napoli," said Lavezzi. "I hope everything will be made clear but it depends on the club not on me."
He added: "I reiterate that my wish is to remain at Napoli."
The 24-year-old is under contract with Napoli until June 2012.
Napoli failed to qualify for European football next season having finished a disappointing 12th in Italy's top flight.

who the hell's lavezzi? I think italian players have to check with their masters (and we all know who they are) before they are permitted to leave Italy...nuff said.
if it was a choice between staying at Napoli or going to Liverpool, I'd say no too... There's too many robbing scousers in the city. There's no guarantee that Lavezzi's house would be in one piece when he returned from training or after a match (especially if it was an away match) LOL
Comment 2 sucks.
Lavezzi is not worthy for Liverpool!!! Get Aguero, Zarate or Maxi Moralez!!!
yeah,..u are right,.u have more chance winning something at napoli then joining the scousers
