Manchester City's record signing Robinho has ruled out an imminent return to Brazil with Santos.
Robinho was the subject of speculation in his homeland as he prepared for the World Cup qualifier against Paraguay on Wednesday, but was keen to put the record straight and confirmed he would remain at Eastlands.
"I am very happy at City. Santos are the team of my heart and one day I want to go back, but not now," he told City's official website.
"I am very happy with the affection demonstrated by the fans in the final match against Bolton," he added.
"The incentives shouted by the crowd, directed at my team-mate Glauber Berti in the final minutes, demonstrated how passionate City's fans are.
"I am very happy and proud to play in a club that has such wonderful followers."

read the last line and weep all you other supporters of other teams who constantly gripe about City having nothing.... its the fans that matter, the blood sweat and tears that are shed on the terraces every week, we've had enough of winning nothing... next season is OURS.
Robinho should stay and City should buy Carlos Tevez from Man u at any price.
They should buy three more solid players. The combination of Robinho and Tevez will be the most potent striking force next season .Mark hughes don't fail to catch Tevez.
