Huddersfield captain Peter Clarke is basking in the glory of his side's npower League One play-off final win over Sheffield United.
Clarke led from the front with an all-action display that culminated in him coolly converting his spot kick in Town's 8-7 penalty shootout win.
The 30-year-old, who skippered the Terriers when they lost to Peterborough in last season's play-off final and in the semi-final defeat to Millwall the previous year, told the club's official website: "I can't really put it into words!
"It's an amazing feeling - the complete polar opposite of last year. That feeling hung around for far too long, but I don't want this feeling to end."
Clarke also won the coin toss that ensured the penalties would be taken in front of the Town fans.
He added: "We immediately decided we wanted to take the penalties at our end. I think the fans did everything they possibly could to put the Sheffield United players off."
