Alex complete goalkeeper deal

Crewe have completed their fourth summer signing with the capture of goalkeeper Steve Collis, who has penned a two-year contract.The 27-year-old, released by Southend last month, is expected to become first-choice at Gresty Road following Ben Williams' switch to Carlisle.

Collis, who began his career as a trainee at Barnet, has had spells with seven different clubs, including Yeovil and Nottingham Forest.

He made 26 appearances last season for Southend, where he was understudy to Darryl Flahavan.

Crewe have already signed Tranmere's Calvin Zola, Joel Grant from Aldershot and fellow goalkeeper Adam Legzdins from Birmingham during the close season.
