Leicester boss Nigel Pearson has bolstered his backroom staff by recruiting Craig Shakespeare and former Chelsea chief scout Steve Walsh.Shakespeare, who was part of the West Brom management team until last week, has been appointed joint assistant manager and first-teach coach.

Walsh completes the three-man management team and will take the roles of joint assistant manager and head of recruitment.

Pearson told the club's official website: "Craig and Steve are close friends, are experts in their own fields and are two people I can trust.

"They are just as passionate and hungry as myself and their experience and knowledge of the game will not only assist me, but the club as a whole will also benefit."
