Swindon boss Maurice Malpas has confirmed his interest in former Manchester United midfielder Ritchie Jones and Peterborough winger Josh Low.Jones, 21, was released by United at the end of last season and has held talks with the Robins but is also interesting other clubs in England and Scotland.

Malpas told the club's official website: "I believe he is discussing a move with his family and hopefully he will join Swindon Town. If he wants to join us then lets get him down here. I would like to get an answer."

Low, formerly of Leicester, is also in demand but Malpas is reluctant to offer him a contract for any longer than six months.

Malpas added: "I was keen for him to come here for six months so we could have a look at him.

"He has a family and would like something longer so we may have to assess what we could bring to the table."
