Liverpool winger Sebastian Leto is to join Greek outfit Panathinaikos.

FOOTBALL Liverpool winger Sebastian Leto, set to join Panathinaikos - 0

The 22-year-old Argentinian spent last season on loan with Pana's rivals Olympiacos after work permit problems prevented him playing for the Premier League club.

Leto signed for the Reds in August 2007, making his debut in a Champions League qualifier against Toulouse later that month.

He only made three further senior appearances for Liverpool.

  1. Martin, if you are a fan how do you not know about­ Leto?
    He was supposed to be the next big thing at one­ stage but coulg never quite cut it. He played alot of­ games for the reserves the year before last and had a­ few senior games. He is a left midfielder but never­ seemed to have enough pace or any interest in the game­ as he always tries to do to much with the ball.
    He­ like Mark Gonzalez in truth just wasnt and never will­ be good enough to become a regular senior player so to­ sell him for a couple of million is good business i­ think.
