Former Watford skipper Sean Dyche has been named as manager Malky Mackay's number two at Vicarage Road.
Dyche has been on the Hornets' coaching staff since 2007 and now makes the step-up to work alongside his fellow former centre-half.
Mackay, who replaced Brendan Rodgers in the Hornets hot-seat last month, has also named ex-QPR, Swindon and Tottenham defender David Kerslake as first-team coach.
Kerslake held the same post at Nottingham Forest until manager Colin Calderwood`s departure in December.
Hornets stalwart Alec Chamberlain continues in his role as goalkeeping coach.

Don't worry we have Nathan back oh @#$% panic if he takes either I hope it's Priskin as Smith is very important to our team set up a can play in different positions and we need feeders like him.
Think we're gonna need a couple of forwards as i have a feeling B Rodgers is after smith & priskin
Just heard on the grapevine that Watford are in contact with Bradley Wright-Phillips as his contract is up with Southampton he will be a free transfer, I think he may be a good signing as he has potential.
I agree with Jason we need to balance the set up here guys! I suppose if you look at last seasons stats our attacking was not a problem but our defence really was, but would still like to see some concentration on attack as well. This will also depend on who stays and who goes in the team as I would not be surprised to see Tommy leave and with Gregory gone back to Southampton we need a new attacker or 2!!
Thats a very defensive coaching set-up. Whos the attacking coach?
