Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has urged Norwich to make him an offer for former Ipswich forward Alan Lee.
The 30-year-old, who played seven times for the Canaries during a loan spell last season, has made it clear he wants to return to Carrow Road and play again under manager Bryan Gunn.
But Warnock is hoping to recoup most of the £600,000 he paid for Lee when he signed him from Ipswich last August.
Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser: "Alan has his heart set on a move to Norwich. I've spoken to Bryan Gunn and told him to make a bid for Alan if he wants him."

palace forever - welcome to norwich's world , you have jordan we have delia...
I read so many comments on varios boards from people blaming Warnock for buying rubbish down and outs, or for his lack of buying and only signing loan players. Its not warnock, Simon Jordan wont put up ant transfer kitty till he sells the club, so Warnock is being forced into taking on only loan players, free bosmans, and cheap affordable rubbish.
Jordan is ruining the club he once claimed to love, the quicker he goes the better, till then the future looks bleak :o(
never really cut it for me really but i still think he could a job for Norwich i thing palace should cut our losses and get 250,000 may 300k. a fair deal i think. A palace fan wishing good luck to Norwich next year its a shame to see you in League one no disrespect to league one at all there
if we get 250k we will be laughing, the only people in croydon who will miss him is the local KFC, London Taxi's have a smaller turning circle, for a bloke who's meant to be an athlete he was a disgrace
typical warnock looking desperate to sell players which is why no one pays anything for therm cause they know he wants to get rid of them so they hold out!
Lee would be a good addition for us if we can afford him. He has the right attitude. He won me over last year. But if Wes Hoolahan goes in the other direction Palace should pay us!
we'll give them £250k...no more!
Hhahahahahahahahahahahahah
