  2. TEVEZ DIDNT LEAVE FOR THE MONEY... HE LEFT MAN U CAUSE HE DIDNT LIKE FERGIE AND HE WENT 2 CITY CAUSE HIS DAUGHTER HAD A PLACE IN THE BEST SKOL THERE SO THEY STAYED IN MANCHESTER

  3. Mr. Gardener, whoever you are, look at the Manchseter United trophy room (not trophy cabinet) before you laugh too much.....

  4. Are you a vegetable Gardener?

From TERRY K, on Fri 17 Jul 5:10PM
  5. No 1 Gardener should go back to gardening as his name rightly suggests since he may contribute something more meaningful there than in football. My honest opinion is that the most abused human right in the world is freedom of speech otherwise how can one fathom some of the comments posted on a daily basis here?

  6. NO 1 GARDENER: No.1 muppet more like. Manchester United are playing some pre-season matches in Asia to simply increase the clubs global market. You have to do this when you are one of the biggest clubs in the world (and you want it to remain that way). Considering Manchester United are the current World Club and Premier League champions and Champions League finalist I would think Sir Alex Ferguson knows a bit more than you about managing the biggest football club on the planet. If you think otherwise then your brain must be about as empty as the Liverpool trophy cabinet.

  7. unless thick all the people on this blog are thick benzema has signed for real money in debt madrid and you are all going on about tevez if he really wanted to stay then he would have told his advisors to take the money City are a joke as for him scoring a hat-trick he will be lucky if he gets that many games if you remember last year city were going to chaing the whole football scene in manchester they were to be the new contenders for the old trafford crown well surprise surprise that didnt happen here is a prediction for you city and scousers Man city to finish 10th Teves to score thirteen goals no cups no glory scousers to finish 4th no cups no glory

Re the Tevez transfer - I blame Fergie for the whole sorry saga, the biggest mistake of his managerial career and bringing in Owen is a poor encouragement to the younger players, Wellbeck, Maceba, Gibson. When City come to Old Trafford in Sept. I hope he rams a hat trick down Fergie's throat.

  12. I know fergie has always come through for us but this season is a bit different. Personally I think we should have kept on Tevez. That bloke is a LEGEND. For all his faults, Ronaldo did perform and made us look good for the past 3 seasons. Who can we depend on now? Rooney will be a better player most definately but what about Berbatov? Still not sure about him, Benzema would be a great addition to the team but now with Madrid in the running......would he come? We just need a class act....who else is out there? Time is running out Gaffer......

  15. 2. Of course its about money. Football has become an accountants business.
But, a team cannot spend July everywhere. MU has chosen Asia because of their fan base and of course merchandising. I agree that Africa has a huge football base and tradition, and in world terms, has produced many hugely-talented players.

  17. that Audi Cup will reveal how much ManUtd is ready for the next season. Good thing there is one month after that for transfers. Devils need new players. Karim would be a good signing. hope he does sign before these games

  20. Why Asia?

Because of money, otherwise they will tour Africa where football is loved more.

And they always leave out India. No wonder Indians tend to support the Gunners.
