Red Bull Racings Ivan Tedesco cleaned up at the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Champs in Lakewood, Colorado this weekend, dominating the 450 class and leading every lap on Saturday night. Teammate Andrew Short of Texas rounded out the top two for Honda Red Bull Racing, taking second place in both races ahead of Kawasaki rider Tommy Hahn. Tedescos win moves him closer to current Championship leader Chad Reed of Australia, who finished fourth overall this weekend.

An elated Tedesco said, This is actually my first win outdoors since 2005. I won here in the (250 Class) and that lead to a championship in that class. It's been a long time coming and I've had to battle through some injuries over the years, but I feel like I'm in top form and it feels great. This year didn't start out great at the first race, but I've had podiums and great runs since then."

French flyer Christophe Pourcel took the runner-up spot in the smaller engine 250 class after an emphatic 1-2 from teammate Jake Weimer, who bounced back from a disappointing display at the last round where he failed to pick up any points. Weimer said, "This was something huge for me. I didn't know if I was going to ever get an outdoor win. I got two good starts on my Kawasaki and I only made one small mistake in the second moto. I'm really excited because this is my first moto and overall wins."

Great Britains Tommy Searle took his second third place finish in a row and sits in fourth overall in the Championship standings.
