Former Watford skipper Sean Dyche has been named as manager Malky Mackay`s number two at Vicarage Road.
Dyche has been on the Hornets` coaching staff since 2007 and now makes the step-up to work alongside his fellow former centre-half.
Mackay, who replaced Brendan Rodgers in the Hornets hot-seat last month, has also named ex-QPR, Swindon and Tottenham defender David Kerslake as first-team coach.
Kerslake held the same post at Nottingham Forest until manager Colin Calderwood`s departure in December.
Hornets stalwart Alec Chamberlain continues in his role as goalkeeping coach.
