Ellington back with Hornets

Nathan Ellington has linked up with Watford for the beginning of pre-season training.

The striker spent last season on loan with Championship rivals Derby, but the Rams did not take up the option of signing him on a permanent deal.

Ellington, who joined Watford from West Brom in 2007, has met with new boss Malky Mackay to discuss his future and will now continue to train with the Hornets ahead of the new season.

"Nathan joined up with the rest of the squad and we'll be getting him fit and ready for the start of the new season," said Mackay.
