QPR assistant boss John Gorman insists manager Jim Magilton has no immediate plans to raid their former club Ipswich for players.
Gorman, who followed Magilton from Portman Road to west London over the summer, revealed they will give the current Rangers squad the chance to impress.
However, Gorman could not rule out any future bids for Town players, while Rangers full-back Damien Delaney has been linked with the Tractor Boys which could also open the door for some movement in the opposite direction.
"We have no immediate thoughts about bidding for any Ipswich players," said Gorman.
"But you cannot rule it out. We have what we believe is a really good squad.
"They will get a chance. But we will be looking at a couple of additions, and of course we know the Ipswich players."

dear jim please take richard wright plus a few other players u brought while u where at ipswich so we can get players that whill get us up not down
The Board should get serious and Flash the Cash if they really want Promotion.
Well, we really need a class striker. Our defence was one of the best last season. Midfield is good too. It worries me about the lack of fire upfront, it really does.
Mind you, another view might be that he won't come and take some of the mediocre players he collected here at Town!
Translation: Club is not serious and will not be active in the transfer market. Maybe a free loan from Italy ?
