Norwich boss Bryan Gunn has ruled out bringing keeper Andy Marshall back to Carrow Road.
Following the summer departure of David Marshall, the Canaries currently have only one stopper on their books, 19-year-old academy product Declan Rudd.
But Gunn has moved to quash rumours that he is interested in a swoop for Marshall, who started his career with the Canaries and has been released by Coventry.
"Andy is someone I know and I spoke to him in the summer on a different subject, but my thoughts are that is not one I'm looking to progress," Gunn told the Norwich Evening News.
Meanwhile, Cambridge City midfielder Scott Neilson has begun a two-week trial with the club.
